News on Climate Change

Thank you to all those who have attended our events and completed our survey. The engagement and feedback has been really useful so far and will be essential for shaping the East Riding climate action plan.

Following our previous post, we would like to remind local businesses that there will be an opportunity to join a virtual consultation event happening on the 13th December. We welcome input from any businesses operating in the East Riding with the aim of identifying actions that can make carbon and financial savings.

We can also confirm there will be a similar online event on the 12th December for local Town & Parish Councils. An invite will have been sent directly to local councillors from East Riding of Yorkshire Council to register for this event.

Finally, there is still time to take part in our climate survey through Commonplace! We want to hear from as many people as possible on climate change and action we can take in East Yorkshire.
